Rakkora · Privacy policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

Rakkora is an Android app that helps inspect steel warehouse racking under the EN 15635 standard. This policy explains what data it handles. In short: Rakkora has no servers, no accounts and no advertising, and it works offline. Your warehouses, damage, photos and inspections stay on your device.

What is stored on your device

Camera

The camera is used for two things: taking photos of damage, which are stored in the app's private storage, and reading the bays' QR labels. QR codes are read on the device itself by Google's ML Kit library: camera images never leave the device.

Technical data sent by ML Kit

ML Kit, included in the app to read QR codes, may send Google anonymous technical usage data: device model and system, app version and performance measurements of the reader. It sends no images, no scanned codes and no data about your warehouses. Google handles it under its ML Kit data disclosure and its privacy policy. Apart from purchases, this is the only Internet connection the app makes.

NFC tags

If you write an NFC tag for a bay, the tag holds only a link with an internal identifier of the bay. It holds no personal data and no warehouse data; without the app and its data, that identifier means nothing. Holding the phone to the tag opens that bay in the app.

Reminders

If you allow notifications, the app checks each morning, on the device itself, for pending damage and inspections and reminds you. None of that leaves the device.

Purchases

Rakkora purchases are made through Google Play. Google handles payment data under its own privacy policy. Rakkora never sees or stores your payment method.

Android backup

If Android backup is on, the system may include Rakkora's data in the backup of your Google account, to restore it if you change phones. That backup is made and kept by Google, not by Rakkora. You can turn it off or delete it in your device and Google account settings.

Sharing

When you share an inspection report, the damage register (PDF or CSV) or a sheet of QR labels, Rakkora creates the file on the device and hands it to the app you pick. From then on, that app's policy applies.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored on the device. As we keep nothing outside your device, there is no data to request or delete on any server of ours. If you use Android backup, you can delete it from your Google account.

Children

Rakkora is a professional tool and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with its date.
